    Substitution Policy

    At The Greenery Florist, we strive to create arrangements that match the style, color palette, and overall look of the design shown online. Because flowers are seasonal and availability can change daily, substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

    If certain flowers, containers, or accents are unavailable, we will substitute with blooms of equal or greater value while maintaining the beauty, theme, and quality of the arrangement. We carefully select replacements that complement the original design as closely as possible.

    Please note that each arrangement is handcrafted and may have slight variations, making every design unique.

    If you have specific requests or concerns regarding substitutions, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate them.

    Delivery Policy

    We are committed to providing fresh, beautiful floral arrangements delivered with care and professionalism.

    Same-Day Delivery

    We offer same-day delivery for orders placed within the following timeframes:

    • Monday–Friday: Orders must be placed by 2:00 PM Eastern Time

    • Saturday: Orders must be placed by 11:30 AM Eastern Time

    Orders placed after the cutoff times will be scheduled for the next available delivery day.

    Delivery Hours

    Our standard delivery window is:

    • 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM Eastern Time

    Deliveries are made during business hours only. Please review our store hours before placing your order.

    Special Delivery Requests

    While we will do our best to accommodate special delivery requests, we cannot guarantee delivery times outside of our standard delivery window.

    We are unable to deliver:

    • Before our shop opens

    • After our shop closes

    • At exact requested times due to traffic, weather, and delivery volume

    Recipient Availability

    If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery:

    • Flowers may be left in a safe, shaded location when appropriate

    • We may leave the order with a front desk, receptionist, or neighbor when permitted

    • Our front desk customer service rep or driver may contact the recipient directly to complete delivery

    Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

    Please ensure all delivery information is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

    • Incorrect addresses

    • Missing apartment, suite, or gate codes

    • Invalid contact information

    Additional delivery fees may apply for re-delivery attempts.

    Holiday & Peak Season Deliveries

    During holidays and high-volume periods such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and major local events:

    • Delivery times may be extended

    • Specific delivery time requests may not be available

    • Orders may be delivered earlier in the day to accommodate demand

    We recommend placing holiday orders as early as possible.

    Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

    Severe weather, traffic conditions, or other unforeseen events may occasionally affect delivery timing. If delays occur, we will make every effort to complete delivery as soon as possible.

    Delivery Area

    Delivery availability may vary by location. Orders outside our standard delivery zone may require additional fees or may not be eligible for same-day delivery.

    Refund Policy

    At The Greenery Florist, we take great pride in the quality and freshness of our flowers and handcrafted arrangements. Because flowers are perishable and time-sensitive products, we have the following policies in place for cancellations, returns, and replacements.

    Order Cancellations

    Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery or pickup may not be eligible for a refund, as preparation of your arrangement may already be underway.

    Freshness & Quality Concerns

    If you are dissatisfied with the quality or condition of your flowers, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. Due to the perishable nature of floral products, claims made after this timeframe may not qualify for replacement or refund consideration.

    To help us resolve the issue quickly, we may request photos of the arrangement and packaging.

    Replacement Guarantee

    If flowers arrive damaged, wilted, or not up to our quality standards upon delivery, The Greenery Florist may offer a replacement arrangement of equal value. Replacement requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

    Conditional Refunds

    Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at the discretion of The Greenery Florist. In some cases, a partial refund, store credit, or replacement may be offered instead of a full refund depending on the situation.

    Improper Care

    We cannot guarantee the longevity of flowers that have not been properly cared for after delivery or pickup. Refunds or replacements will not be provided for arrangements affected by improper handling, lack of water, extreme temperatures, or failure to follow included care instructions.

    Refused or Undeliverable Deliveries

    If a delivery is refused by the recipient or if delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address information, inaccessible location, or inability to contact the recipient, refunds may not be available. Additional delivery fees may apply for re-delivery attempts.
